Résidences d'Automne

Compagnon des créations & ouvert à tous les processus, quel que soit leurs étapes [Écriture – Recherche – LABOratoire – Création – Reprise], UP - Circus & Performing Arts met à la disposition des équipes artistiques, des espaces de travail & DIFFERENTS DISPOSITIFS de SOUTIEN adaptés aux nécessités de leurs créations. 

Les RESIDENCES PONCTUELLES sont prioritairement dédiées à l'émergence de nouveaux projets de création. Cette Saison, nous proposons une trentaine de RESIDENCES PONCTUELLES de 2 semaines chacune.  Ces mises à disposition d’espaces de travail se font lors des ‘périodes de break’ des activités hebdomadaires, c’est-à-dire, principalement durant les congés scolaires [Automne, Hiver, Printemps, Fin de Saison & en Eté]  

Vous trouverez ci-dessous les conditions proposées dans le cadre de cet Appel à Projets pour les  RESIDENCES PONCTUELLES : 

• Ce dispositif est ouvert aux projets belges & internationaux 
• 2 semaines de Résidence pour chaque projet Lauréat, du 24.10.2022 au 04.11.2022, soit 10 jours en Salle [hors WE] 
• 3 Salles disponibles pour cet Appel à Projet d'Automne : l’Open Space B, le StudiO 187, & le StudiO 2.0.
• Le descriptif de chaque espace de travail se trouve sur la page Lieu ⋆ UP – Circus & Performing Arts (upupup.be) [1 page par Salle avec infos techniques & photos].

Les résidences Ponctuelles ne donnent pas lieu à la prise en charge des frais de transport, du logement ou des repas, qui resteront à charge des compagnies accueillies. Notre Esplanade extérieur permet toutefois l'accueil de caravanes, avec raccordement possible à la distribution d'eau, d'électricité ainsi qu'un accès aux sanitaires [ toilettes/ douches] de Up-Circus & Performing Arts.

Durant ces Résidences d'Automne, les Compagnies devront être autonomes au niveau de leur matériel, de leurs accrochages & de leurs (dé)montages. Les espaces de travail devront être rendus propres & rangés.

Les Appels à Projets seront ouverts quelques semaines [environ 1 mois] avant l’accueil en Résidence & non plus en 1 fois en début de Saison 

Après avoir encodé votre projet artistique sur MY CATA, nous vous invitons à consulter les Périodes & les Salles disponibles, puis à candidater en sélectionnant les espaces de travail qui correspondraient à vos besoins ‘du moment’.

SUBMISSION OPEN for the FALL RESIDENCIES [Application file should be put online between the 03 > 07.04.23]  

Support for creations & open to all the process, no matter in which step [Writing – Research – Laboratories – Creation – Remake], UP - Circus & Performing Arts provides to artistic teams workspaces & DIFFERENTS SUPPORT PROGRAMM suitable to the needs of their creation.  

The PONCTUAL RESIDENCIES are a support system dedicated to the emergence of new projects. During the Season, the PONCTUALS are 30 RESIDENCES of 2 weeks each.  These workspaces provisions are made during the “break period” of the week activities, which means mainly during the school vacancies [Fall, Winter, Spring, End of Season & Summer]. 

You will find below the conditions proposed in the context of this Call for Tenders for PONCTUAL RESIDENCIES : 

• This programme is open to Belgian & international projects 
• 2 complete weeks of Residencies for each project from the 24.10.2022 to the 04.11.2022 10 days in the spaces [ week-end not included ] 
• 3 Spaces available : the Open Space B, the StudiO 187& the StudiO 2.0

We are still not allowed to start the accomodation work in the place so, in the case of this programm, we could not accomodate you on spot / neither pay the expenses due to it, sorry ! 

In the case of this programm, we can not financially participate to the staff expenses, neither to the transport expenses. However, our Esplanade can accommodate caravans, with possible connection to water & electricity and access to the UP - Circus & Performing Arts toilet & shower.

During these FALL Residencies, the Companies will have to be totally independent with their material, their installations, get in & get out.The work spaces must be left clean & tidy.

A little novelty about the schedule for the file submitting.

The Call for Tenders will be opened a few weeks before the beggining of the Residency & not only 1 time at the Season’s beggining. [around 1 month]  

After registering your artistic project on MY CATA, check the Periods & Spaces available, then apply by selecting the workingspaces which fit to your needs ‘on the moment’. Once you have registered your nomination, click on the 'SOUMETTRE UN PROJET' [Submit a Project'] button in the upper right part of the screen.'
