Présentation de projets en création

UP - Circus & Performing Arts [anciennement Espace Catastrophe] & Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse | WBTD [Agence publique de promotion internationale des Arts de la Scène de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles] s’associent à nouveau en vue d’organiser 3 matinées de présentation de projets de création belges & internationaux [ex « Bons Baisers Cirque »] qui se dérouleront durant le Focus Pros de UP FESTIVAL, le Festival de cirque[s] @ Bruxelles.  

• Dates : 22, 23 & 24.03.2022  
• Horaires des présentations : de 10 à 12h 
• Lieu : UP – Circus & Performing Arts [Bruxelles] 
• Nombre de projets retenus : 8 à 10 projets par matinée [x 3 matinées]  
• Chaque projet aura 8 minutes pour se présenter [incluant l’intervention d’un parrain]  
• Langue de présentation : français ou anglais 
• Moment d’échanges entre porteurs de projets & opérateurs à l’issue des présentations

• Cet appel à candidatures est ouvert aux Compagnies belges & internationales  
• La création du spectacle devra être prévue pour les années 2023/24/25  
• Une structure tierce [programmateur, lieu de création, festival, etc.] s’engage à parrainer votre projet & sera présente à vos côtés lors de la présentation  
• Date limite pour déposer votre candidature : 20.01.2022  
• Les réponses seront communiquées le 11.02.2022  
• Une prise en charge forfaire de 100,00 € sera attribuée à chaque projet pour aider à couvrir une partie des frais de participation / présentation [présence parrain/marraine inclus.e]

Les critères suivants pourront être pris en considération dans la sélection des projets : 

• Enjeu & originalité́ de la proposition artistique [développement d’un langage circassien singulier, caractère novateur & original du projet, pertinence de la dramaturgie & du déploiement scénographique, qualité́ & exigence de la réalisation, etc.]
• Adéquation de la proposition artistique aux réalités de la diffusion internationale  
• Qualité́ & clarté du dossier remis  
• Pour les projets d’Artistes issus de la FWB, une attention particulière sera portée aux projets ayant un ancrage en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

• Créez un compte [si vous n’êtes pas encore enregistré] 
• Ensuite, créez un profil « Artiste » 
• Patientez, le temps que nous validions votre profil « Artiste » 
• Une fois votre profil « Artiste » validé, encodez votre projet de création & répondez à l’appel à projets en joignant un pdf avec les informations suivantes :

• Nom du Projet, Nom & pays d'implantation de la Compagnie
• Nom, fonction & coordonnées de la personne de votre équipe qui assurera la présentation de votre projet 
• Nom, fonction & coordonnées de la personne qui parrainera votre présentation  
• Précisez les objectifs que vous visez en participant à cette présentation de projets 

 En cas de sélection, vous vous engagez à être disponible[s] & à être présent.e[s] @ Bruxelles sur l’une des 3 dates proposées [selon la proposition qui vous sera faite à l’issue du processus de sélection des candidatures] ainsi qu’à prendre en charge l’ensemble des coûts liés à votre intervention  [transports / logement éventuel / repas & boissons / salaires / frais de présentation]. 

 Une indemnité forfaitaire plafonnée à 100,00 € sera versée pour chaque projet présenté.

Creative projects presentation  

UP - Circus & Performing Arts [formerly Espace Catastrophe] and Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse | WBTD [a public agency that promotes the Performing Arts of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation internationally] are partnering once again to hold three mornings of presenting creative projects from Belgium and abroad [formerly Bons Baisers Cirque], which will take place during the Focus Pros segment of the UP FESTIVAL, the Circus Festival in Brussels.  

• Dates: 22, 23 and 24 March 2022  
• Time: 10 am-noon  
• Place: UP - Circus & Performing Arts [Brussels]  
• Number of projects selected: 8 to 10 projects per morning [x3 mornings]  
• Each project will have 8 minutes to present themselves [including input from a mentor]  
• Presentation language: French or English 
• Time for discussion between the project leaders & Companies after the presentations

• This call for applications is open to Belgian and foreign companies  
• The show’s creation should be scheduled for 2023/2024/2025  
• A third-party organisation [programmer, creative space, festival, etc.] will support your project and will be by your side during the presentation  
• Deadline for submitting applications: 20 January 2022  
• Responses will be sent on 11 February 2022  
• A lump sum of €100 will be allocated to each project to help cover part of the participation/presentation fees [including the presence of a mentor] 

 The following criteria may be considered when selecting projects: 

• Challenge and originality of the artistic proposal [developing a singular circus language, innovative and original character of the project, relevance of the dramaturgy and stage design deployment, quality and requirement of the realisation, etc.]
• Adequacy of the artistic proposal to the realities of international dissemination 
• Quality and clarity of the dossier submitted  
• For the Artist projects from the FWB, particular attention will be paid to projects rooted within the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

• Next, create an ‘Artist’ profile 
• Wait for us to validate your Artist profile 

Once your Artist profile has been validated, submit your creative project and respond to the call for projects by attaching a pdf with the following information:

• Name of the Project & Name & country of establishment of the Company
• Name, position & contact information of the person of your team who will present your project 
• Name, position & contact information of the person who will sponsor your presentation 
• Specify the objectives you want to achieve by participating in this project presentation

In case of selection, you commit yourself to be available & to be present @ Brussels on one of the 3 proposed dates [according to the proposal that will be made to you at the end of the application selection process] as well as to take care of all the costs related to your intervention [transport / possible accommodation / meals & drinks / salaries / presentation fees]. 

A flat fee of up to 100,00 € will be paid for each project presented.
